Planned Activity
We are offering a two part experience for you. We are eager to provide you with an opportunity to shadow a Senior Deputy Fire Marshal (DFM) from our Fire Prevention Division, observe a fire inspection, and then tour a fire station, talk with on-duty firefighters, and learn what it's like to be a firefighter.
The Fire Prevention Division provides a comprehensive fire/life safety plan review for land development, new building construction, interior remodel projects, fire suppression and fire alarm systems. In addition, periodic construction inspections are performed to ensure that completed projects conform to both state and local fire safety regulations.
